NEWS BRIEF: Lorry Plunges into Culvert Along Kerugoya-Karatina Highway

Kirinyaga County –  By Kinana Munene  A tragic road accident occurred this morning along the   Kerugoya-Karatina highway   near the   KPLC substation in the Karina area , after a lorry reportedly lost steering control and veered off the road into a nearby culvert. Eyewitnesses say the driver appeared to struggle with the vehicle moments before it plunged into the ditch. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and survivors were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The number of casualties is yet to be confirmed by authorities. Traffic police have since cordoned off the area and launched investigations into the cause of the accident.
